Directed by No Sang Hoon (The Queen of Office) and written by Kwon Ki Young (All About My Romance), the police procedural mystery also features Choi Won Young (Twenty Again) as a psychopathic killer and Lee Cheon Hee (Cyrano Agency) as the leader of the criminal investigation team. Breakout star Park Bo Gum (Answer Me 1988) garnered Best Supporting Actor and a Popularity Award at the 2015 KBS Drama Awards for his role as an intelligent lawyer who harbors a dark secret. EXO's D.O, Kim Gyu Cheol and Seo Young Joo also appear in cameo roles.

Genius criminal profiler Lee Hyun (Seo In Guk) was considered a potential psychopath by his criminal psychologist father when he was young. After witnessing his father's murder, Lee Hyun lost his childhood memories and also his younger brother Lee Min. Years later, he returns to Korea from America, and gets hired as a consultant for a special crime investigation team where he works with inspector Cha Ji An (Jang Na Ra). Having stalked Lee Hyun for years, Ji An knows that his father's death and his brother's disappearance are all related to notorious serial killer Lee Joon Young who is still at large since escaping police custody years ago. She forms an alliance with Lee Hyun, hoping to catch the culprit behind a new series of murders that seem to be connected to Lee Joon Young.
