Set in a serene riverside hotel during winter, the story follows Young-hwan (Gi Ju-bong), an aging poet who, sensing his end is near, invites his two estranged sons – Kyung-soo (Kwon Hae-hyo) and Byung-soo (Yu Jun-sang) – for an uneasy reunion. At the same time, another guest, Sang-hee (Kim Min-hee), seeks solace from heartbreak with the help of her friend Yeon-joo (Song Seon-mi).

Over one poignant night, these five lives briefly intersect through quiet moments, shared drinks, and conversations that speak volumes about loss, love, and the human condition.
