Tokyo Bong Joon Ho DVD English Subtitled

Three separate and very different tales of urban life combine for one unique cinematic vision of Tokyo. Michel Gondry's characteristically surreal Interior Design follows a young couple, Hiroko (Fujitani Ayako) and aspiring director Akira (Kase Ryo, I Just Didn't Do It), newly settled in the city. Left jobless at home while Akira chases his dubious dreams, Hiroko feels more and more invisible until she eventually turns into a chair. In French director Leos Carax's Merde, a vile man-creature (Denis Lavant) emerges from the sewers to terrorize the streets of Tokyo, creating mass hysteria and a scathing statement about the ugliness of humanity. Korean director Bong Joon Ho's Shaking Tokyo revolves around a severe recluse (Kagawa Teruyuki, Tokyo Sonata) whose crush on a pizza delivery girl (Aoi Yu, Hula Girls) prompts him to finally venture out of his apartment.

This edition comes with audio commentary by Bong Joon Ho, making of, interviews, deleted scenes, outtakes, trailer, and other extras.
