Based on the same manga that spawned the hit Japanese series Dragon Zakura starring Abe Hiroshi and Yamashita Tomohisa, 2010 KBS school drama God of Study is one of the most anticipated Korean dramas of the season. Movie star Kim Su Ro appears in his first TV drama playing a scrappy lawyer who takes up a teaching position at a failing school. His mission: to get five rebellious underachievers into the country's top university. Teen heartthrob Yoo Seung Ho (Queen Seon Duk) leads the delinquent class, along with T-ara's Ji Yeon (High Kick Through the Roof), Ko Ah Sung (The Host), Lee Hyun Woo (The Return of Iljimae), and Lee Chan Ho. Popular actress Bae Du Na returns to the small screen as a quirky, earnest teacher while Oh Yoon Ah plays the ditzy principal.
The first God of Study soundtrack had T-max, 4Minute, and T-ara. The second soundtrack adds to the idol lineup with BEAST, f(x), FT.Triple, and Secret! BEAST pumps things up with the dance track Ready Go, along with FTIsland subgroup FT.Triple's rock ballad "Don't You Know", Secret's sweet pop tune Friends, and the mid-tempo ballad "Spread Its Wings" from f(x) girls Krystal, Luna, and Amber. Ji Yeon and Ko Ah Sung also participate in the soundtrack this time, teaming up with Ernest on "Go".
